$185.00

SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 14TH, 2026

9A-2P

Got a sad dining chair? Perfect. Bring it in—we’re going to make it cool again.

In this beginner-friendly, hands-on class, you’ll learn how to reupholster a simple slip seat dining chair from start to finish. We’ll strip it down, rebuild it where needed, and wrap it back up in something you actually want to look at every day.

No experience necessary—just a willingness to learn, use some tools, and make something with your hands.

What you’ll learn:

  • How to safely remove old fabric and assess what’s worth saving

  • The basics of foam, batting, and foundation materials

  • Proper fabric placement and cutting

  • Stapling techniques for a clean, professional finish

  • How to get those crisp corners (you know the ones)

What’s included:

  • All tools + equipment

  • Basic upholstery materials (foam, batting, staples, etc.)

  • Guidance every step of the way (with just enough tough love)

What to bring:

  • A simple slip seat dining chair (removable seat only—no fully upholstered frames)

  • Your fabric (or purchase from our shop at a discount)

Timeline:
One 5-hour session (with breaks, duh)

Price:
$185 per person

Good to know:

  • This class is designed for true beginners

  • If your chair is a little funky, send us a photo ahead of time and we’ll make sure it’s a good fit

  • Expect to leave with a finished (or very close to finished) seat and a new skill you’ll absolutely use again

Come make something useful, learn a new skill, and give your chair a second life.
